The 1st Annual Miss West Indian Canadian Pageant was held on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at the prestigious Pearson Convention Center. Congratulations to RIA DA COSTA for winning the pageant! The race was extremely close with SASHA GOKOOL as the 1st Runner-up & Miss Popularity and SHAMEELA SHAHEED as the 2nd Runner-up.
The top 10 contestants opened with their well rehearsed opening choreographed dance number to Paparazzi by Lady Gaga and then Jai Ho. They were all graceful and stunning in their bridal gowns from

FERI, and WOWED the crowd in their lehengas from CTC
West - jewelry by
Banglez. All their talents really impressed the judges. Their evening gowns were all beautiful and they modelled them very well. They went right into the Q&A. The audience enjoyed the show and emails are still pouring in with support for next year. Click here to join the pageant.
